Here's an artwork I created back in March. It's the first time I've ever drawn again from scratch without relying on 3d programs. I've been using blender for 2 years now for illustrations, and I found it a bit unfulfilling to basically just paint over 3d renders, rather than starting from a very simple sketch and gradually adding details and colors to it by hand.
I don't know, it just feels a bit too easy letting the program create a detailed render for you without much "drawing action" from the artist. I mean, creating convincing 3d renders is still quite challenging in and of itself, but I just find it personally a bit too systematic or even boring, having done it for almost every artwork I've created.
So, I'll be posting a more varied set of artworks in terms of style and theme. It'll be more inconsistent and probably even less detailed, but at least I find them fun to create. I'll still be using 3d, but it's going to be more leaned towards things where 3d is actually needed like rigging, animation, or making game environments.
